About Dr. Sarij

I am a board-certified Interventional pain management physician and president of Integrated Spine And Pain Care. Many years of medical training and decades of practice has led me to taking a holistic approach to management of pain. This means, the treatment plans are individualized, utilizing conventional, interventional and complementary treatment modalities to treat pain and improve quality of life.

After graduating from Stony Brook University then Ross University School of Medicine, I completed Internship and Residency training at the Weill Cornell University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, followed by Fellowship training at the NYC Neurology program of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centers’ Pain Medicine and the Palliative care program, followed by training at the Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship program at Harvard Anesthesia Department of Brigham and Women’s hospital. Now, more than two decades after starting, I have the added qualifications conferred to me by training with the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies, as an active fellow of the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians.

I understand that most patients want to avoid risky surgeries with very uncertain outcomes and statistically unfavorable results. I believe in application of minimally invasive techniques that produce dramatic results with minimal to no recovery time, as well as multiple other approaches in combination to relieve pain and improve the quality of life.
