Harness Healing For Pain Relief

Targeted PRP Injections for Musculoskeletal Pain

At Integrated Spine & Pain Care, we use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as an image-guided treatment to reduce pain and support healing in injured tendons, ligaments, and joints. If you’re managing chronic knee, shoulder, elbow, or plantar heel pain—or recovering from an overuse injury—PRP can be a non-surgical option that aims to repair tissue, not just mask symptoms.

Revitalize your body with PRP therapy,  a cutting-edge, non-surgical treatment that harnesses your own platelets to stimulate tissue repair, boost cellular regeneration, and enhance natural healing.

    What Are you getting?

    What Is PRP Therapy?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentrated solution made from your own blood. Platelets release growth factors that help regulate inflammation and stimulate tissue repair. When PRP is precisely injected into a painful tendon, ligament, or joint, it can decrease pain and improve function by supporting the body’s normal healing response.

    What we offer

What to Expect During the Procedure

PRP therapy harnesses your body’s natural healing power to restore damaged tissues and support regeneration. Minimally invasive and personalized to your needs, it encourages faster recovery—without surgery.

    Blood Draw

A small amount of your blood is gently drawn from your arm for processing and preparation.

    Centrifugation

The blood is spun in a centrifuge to carefully separate the platelet-rich plasma.

    Injection

Using ultrasound or fluoroscopy, your clinician injects PRP directly at the pain source for accurate targeting and effective relief.

    Conditions We Treat

    Targeted Relief, Natural Repair

PRP therapy is used to support healing in a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including tendonitis, ligament injuries, joint pain, osteoarthritis, and muscle strains. It’s also effective in treating sports injuries and promoting recovery from overuse or degeneration—helping restore function and mobility naturally.

    • Osteoarthritis

    • Tendon and ligament injuries

    • Plantar fasciitis

    • Rotator cuff tears

    • Patellar tendinopathy

    • Post-surgical recovery

If you’re unsure whether PRP is right for your condition, our specialists at IS Pain Care can assess your needs during a consultation.

    Natural Healing. Real Results.

    Benefits of PRP Therapy

PRP injections use a concentrated dose of your own platelets to calm inflammation and support repair at the source of pain—most often in tendons, ligaments, and arthritic joints. Delivered with ultrasound/fluoroscopy guidance, PRP can help when rest, NSAIDs, or basic therapy haven’t been enough.

    Heal. Restore. Thrive.

Personalized Care for the Right Candidates

    Is PRP Right for You?

PRP may be appropriate if you have persistent tendon, ligament, or mild-to-moderate joint pain and prefer to avoid surgery or repeated steroid injections.
PRP is not typically recommended for advanced osteoarthritis, active infection, significant bleeding disorders, or uncontrolled systemic disease. Certain blood thinners and medical conditions require coordination with your care team.

We’ll review your history, exam, and imaging to confirm whether PRP is a good fit—or recommend a different pain treatment (e.g., targeted steroid injection, radiofrequency ablation, viscosupplementation, or other interventional options) if evidence suggests better relief.

    FAQs About PRP Therapy

How long does it take to see results from PRP therapy?

Most patients start to see positive changes within 2–6 weeks, and these improvements continue to develop over several months as the body’s healing process unfolds

This depends on your situation and reaction to therapy. Some patients find relief after a single injection, while others may require a series of 2–3 treatments, spaced weeks apart, to achieve the desired results.

The injection might cause a little discomfort, but most patients handle it without any issues. Local anesthesia is commonly employed, and some discomfort may persist for a day or two following the procedure.

PRP utilizes your own blood, making allergic reactions uncommon. The most common side effect of the injection is mild pain or swelling at the site where it was administered. Contamination and nerve damage are uncommon but feasible hazards.

Most insurance plans do not consider PRP as a covered procedure, making it an elective treatment. Our team will offer transparent pricing upfront and engage in a discussion about financing options with you.
